I received an email about a "Routine Search," what does this mean?

The Routine Searches we regularly conduct look for your private information on the top 40 data collection and broker websites where it is most likely to be found. When you get an update about a “Routine Search” from us, it is referring to those specific websites. We monitor these sites continuously; in case your content ever reappears.

If no information is found on me after a "Routine Search," does that mean all of my personal data has been removed?

No – it only means that your information could not be found among the top 40 popular people-finder sites and data brokers. Your home address could still reside on other websites that aren’t as common, which is why we scan the Internet for any sites where this content may be found. If it is found, then our team contacts that site to make sure that content is removed.

Additionally, if you have found your information on a site that isn’t listed on your account report yet, please send it to us, and we can take care of the rest to have it removed.
